SCRIP & eSCRIP

The amount of SCRIP sold per year directly affects the amount of teaching tools and specialty programs in your kids' classrooms. Please bring your checkbook on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons and buy SCRIP once a week for groceries.

Right now table sales are limited to Fred Meyer (5% donated to our school) which is our best seller - over $6,000 last year. We're hoping to add Starbucks in the near future and possibly New Seasons.

The other way to support Laurelhurst School is eSCRIP.

What is eSCRIP?

Local merchants (Safeway is the largest) pledge a percentage of sales to schools through the eSCRIP program. Purchases are tracked by the store and eSCRIP processes and distributes checks. Grant H.S. uses eSCRIP exclusively and raised over $4,000 last year.

How do I sign-up?

All you need to do is register either your Safeway club card, debit card, or credit card (or all of them):

Go to www.eSCRIP.com. Click on Sign-up. Choose Group Name "Laurelhurst Elementary School" (NOT Laurelhurst Elementary PTA which is in Seattle) or type in the zipcode "97232". The rest of the menu is self-directing and the whole process takes about five minutes. Then shop like you normally would, either at the store or online. There's nothing else you have to do.
